Treehouse

An approximately 75 feet tall, all steel “tree” structure with three wood framed dwellings; including a 40 feet long suspension bridge connecting to the adjacent main residence. The trunk is a 9 foot diameter, custom rolled pipe and the branches consist of structural steel pipes of varying sizes, interconnected by steel platforms where the three dwellings are built on. The bark of the “tree” is sculpted with a layer of concrete over rebar cages that envelope the structural steel to give it a realistic look.
