Lars Lee

Lars joined Strandberg Engineering with over 25 years of experience designing a wide variety of building types focused on architecturally driven structures. In addition to his engineering experience, he is a licensed general contractor who has designed and built custom homes in the Bay Area.  He particularly enjoys working closely with architects, contractors, and owners in understanding each project’s specific goals in order to develop structural solutions which are resilient, beautiful, and considerate of the other disciplines involved in a building project.

Lars grew up in San Mateo, then proceeded to pursue his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at UCLA in Structural and Earthquake Engineering.  He currently resides in Mountain View with his wife and two daughters.  These days, Lars’ time is filled with cheering on his daughters at their soccer, swimming, and track events.  He and his family love to join friends on vacations to ski, hang out on the beach, and camp.

In his spare time, Lars enjoys working with his hands. He is currently making wooden stand up paddle boards for future summer vacations.
