Quinn Porter
Originally from Piedmont, California. Quinn became interested in design and the built environment at a young age. Throughout childhood, he took carpentry classes and jumped at every opportunity to work with his hands. During his junior year of high school, Quinn went to Tecate, Mexico, to build homes. On this service trip, he decided to make his passion a career.
After high school, Quinn attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He chose to major in Architectural Engineering as the program strongly promotes collaboration between architecture, engineering, and construction management students through shared classes and projects. He was also excited that there are multiple good surf breaks within 15 minutes of campus.
Throughout his time at Strandberg, Quinn has enjoyed working to formulate elegant solutions that consider all disciplines involved in the building process.
Outside the office, you can find Quinn at the beach with his board, in Marin with his bike, or at one of his favorite San Francisco restaurants.
