This remodel is at the top of a hill overlooking downtown San Francisco. Foundations were designed to accommodate the steep and sloping site. Structural elements included cantilevers, flagpole shear walls, moment frames, and conventional wood and reinforced concrete walls. This project achieved LEED Platinum, and included features such as PV panels, and rain and site water reuse elements.
