Benton Lam
Benton grew up in Hong Kong and moved to the Bay Area to start his high school years. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Architecture, worked as an architectural designer for a couple of years, and learned that his interest lies in the engineering aspect of the design process. Benton joined the Strandberg team (formerly Yu Strandberg Engineering) in 2007 and became a licensed engineer in 2010.
Benton lives in Castro Valley with his partner, her teenage son, and their little girl. Benton is a big kid himself who enjoys watching anime and collecting anything with pandas. He also likes to run, drive his little stick shift, and draw...although his daughter takes up all his free time nowadays, and he's enjoying every minute of it.
