Mill Valley Cabins
These cabins are perched on a steep hillside to provide the client with space for an artist studio and a yoga space that would also serve as a private guest cabin. The foundation of the cabins consists of a reinforced concrete pier and grade beam foundation, allowing the cabins to grip the hillside with minimal embedment. The roof of the lower building was planted with a garden to blend into the hillside.
