Mendocino Residence
This one-story single-family home sits on top of a hill overlooking the rolling hills of Ukiah. The structure consists of steel roof beams supported by board-formed concrete walls and steel columns. Full-height windows surround the home, necessitating careful detailing of its connection to the rest of the structure and careful consideration of the deflections in the long-span cantilevered steel beam.
