Jackson Residence

This San Francisco renovation of a single-family residence received a full-seismic upgrade comprising of wood shear walls and steel moment-resisting frames. A continuous central stair wraps the steel and glass elevator centered on a skylight above. The vaulted ceilings match the slopes of the roof and created an interesting structural challenge.
