Pacheco Residence

This project is a remodel and vertical addition to an existing single-family home. The structure consists of wood-framed floors and roofs, supported by wood-framed beams and walls on new and existing foundations. The building is laterally supported with plywood shear walls. Notable features of the structure include a sawtooth window system cantilevered off bent steel plate fascias, and shallow structural elements integrated into the roof assembly to create vaulted cathedral ceilings.
