Piedmont Residence

This 3,500 square foot single family residence consists of a steel frame exterior, infilled with wood joists and partitions. Rammed earth is used to form the walls at the exterior facade, indoor/outdoor spaces and landscape retaining walls. The concept of the project was a self-sustaining house with geothermal heat, a net zero solar electrical system, and rammed earth walls.
